These stelae have been studied French archaeologist Anfray which allocated them to a period of about 1500 years ago. He made the analysis on the ground for groped to define dating.
Probably it is the burial place of warriors.
Local people thought that these stelae were put there by the ancient Arab leader Grajn, during the period of control over the area, and that they served to tie his horse.
